Volunteer

Volunteering at Open Meadow is a great way to get to know our students and the things they are doing to get their educational lives back on track. Opportunities vary from tutoring students in their academic subjects, spending one hour in a classroom sharing your expertise on a topic, working behind the scenes to support our operations, to providing an internship opportunity for a student. Last year, our amazing volunteers contributed more than 9,100 hours of service to our programs.

On-going volunteers must fill out a Volunteer Application, attend a brief orientation and go through a background check. We ask that volunteers working directly with youth make a semester long-commitment to the organization.

Open on-going school year volunteer opportunities include:
Career Services Program Intern
Development Intern
Events Intern
OMHS Program Intern
OMHS Cyber Intern-Mentor
OMMS Program Intern
Step Up Program Intern
Step Up Tutor
Spanish Translation Assistant
OMHS Student Retention Specialist
