Admission to the Corporate Connections Program

Corporate Connections is a business career development program available to low-income youth ages 18-24 who are seeking entry-level, career-track office employment. Trainings begin in fall, spring, and summer. Dates vary. To qualify, you must:

• Qualify as “low-income”
• Pass a drug screening
• Reside in the city of Portland
• Be between 18-24
• Have a diploma or GED by the time the program is complete
• Be motivated to work and excel in an office setting

If you are interested in Corporate Connections, your first step is to call Nick Knudsen, Open Meadow Career Services Director, at (503)488-5165. After an initial phone screening, if you qualify for the program, you should fill out the Corporate Connections Application and Self-Rating Assessment as soon as possible. Once you have filled out the application, call the number above to set up an interview for admission.
